The Muse Performance Space

The Lucas Haratsaris Quartet combines musical traditions of the past with fresh new ideas of the present. Playing a wide variety of styles from swing to blues, rock, and modern jazz, the group is always exploring the bounds of improvised instrumental music. Led by saxophonist and composer Lucas Haratsaris, the group features Simon Von Hatten on drums, Ben Egan on bass, and Samuel Hedgpeth on keys. Whether bringing to life timeless classics or presenting original compositions, their individual talent and dedication always creates a unique musical experience.

Damian Lesperance-Young is a versatile saxophonist based in Fort Collins, Colorado, currently completing his final semester of Jazz Studies at Colorado State University. He has studied saxophone, piano, and composition under respected artists including Wil Swindler, Peter Sommer, Tom Amend, David Mesquitic, and Gabriel Santiago. Damian performs professionally throughout the Fort Collins and Denver areas, as well as internationally aboard cruise ships. His musical experience spans a wide range of genres, including jazz, classical, and contemporary pop, making him a flexible and in-demand musician for a variety of settings.
